Teacher Turned Writer

Truly, I wish time machines were a thing. I had to learn a lot about myself before I could make the life-changing decision to leave teaching and pursue my passion - full-time writer. I always feared that there were so few opportunities involving writing, but how wrong I was! When I finally discovered the world of copywriting and copyediting, I knew this was where I was supposed to be.

I am now able to boast an illustrious portfolio of copywriting projects that I have had the privilege of being a part of. After 4+ years in the industry, I have become an expert in composing blogs, social media content, ads, email marketing, case studies, and more. My copy is captivating while still conveying appropriate brand voice to drive engagement.

My Other Talents and Dreams

I love reading, video games, anime, and sports! I also love to write about all of those things. I learned Spanish throughout high school and university and am now able to do translation work. My dream is to publish a novel, which is something that I'm constantly working on. I'd love to write creatively for an apparel brand I love, a video game, sports team, or even anything in FinTech!

Leaving teaching was the most terrifying thing I've ever done, but it was worth every frightening moment. The fulfilment and joy I feel from earning a living doing what I'm most passionate about is a sort of bliss I never anticipated for myself. My professional growth journey has been full of ups and downs, but I'm excited about the path I'm following.
